Congratulations Kamila and Joseph

So far this tops as one of our crazy wedding days this season. Starting out with arriving at Kamila's house and Kamila not being there...no problem, since Joe only lived 10 minutes away, we decided to go to his house for some groom getting ready shots. Unfortunately, we didn't get very far as Joe literally 5 minutes to our arrival just woke up. So back to Kamila's house we went, hoping she would be back...no sign of Kamila. Five minutes before the arrival of the limo to pick everyone up to the church, Kamila comes running in. What we didn't know, this was typical of Kamila so their bridesmaid's said. I have to admit that she was fantastic in that in those 5 minutes she managed to put herself together and get dressed. Another 5 minutes of pictures and off we went to St. Cyril in Hartford.

After mass, Kamila and Joe had the usual receiving line and then we rushed off to Elizabeth Garden. As beautiful as that garden is in July, it's one of the most busiest and frustrating gardens to take pictures with a wedding party. We battle not only the direct sun, the heat, the people in the background but parking and getting into the park itself as well. And on top of it, we only had about 10 minutes at the park as we quickly needed to get to The Cascades in Hamden, CT.

The rest of the night was much more relaxing. Congratulations to Kamila and Joe, and thank you all for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day!!

Elizabeth Garden - keep in mind if you're wanting to take pictures there, the roses are in bloom for only about 3 weeks in July.

Doesn't she look like Cameron Diaz?? (She's been told many times, and at a quick glance, it's so true)

The Cascades ... beautiful centerpies
