Sebus first birthday

Kids, you never know what they will come up with!!?!! But in our case, that
statement applies to us (the photographers). Last night, we once again
photographed Sebus (Sebastian) who this time around was celebrating his
First Birthday. Ania even baked a sugar-free cake covered with sugar-free
frosting (really totally sugar free: see recipe below if you're
interested). Then we put Sebus in front of it and with anxiety watched for
the fun to begin. To our surprise, Sebus didn't quite dive into the cake
and get it all over his face as we had hoped was going to happen. No
worries - with a little encouragement, it didn't take long for the cake to
be on his legs, diaper and of course the floor. Needless to say, it was a
lot of fun to watch.

Of course, we also got some formals on our new rocking horse prop for the
studio, and some random here and there (all over our studio). I say all
over because Sebus was lightening fast with changing positions and
locations. I think all toddlers his age literally have a 5 second
tolerance to a sit/stand/smile/look holding positions...
