Congratulations Licete and Peter

Congratulations Licete and Peter!

I have to say that this was a very challenging day - battling extreme humidity, high heat, the afternoon pouring rain from the hurricane, and the largest bridal party (26 people!) we have had thus far but it's not to say we didn't have a blast with them.

The day started out fun with trying to keep track of taking pictures of the entire bridal party - it seemed at any given moment 1 or 2 people were somehow missing. Finally, everyone managed to get themselves together and we made our way to the church, St. Augustine's in Bridgeport.

The fun and excitement continued with a stop to pick something up at one of the usher's house, a stop at the groom's house for some portuguese sandwiches (they looked really yummy), and an extra stash of alcohol, a stop at the liquor store for some ice, and finally 45 minutes later a stop at Greenwich Park for the formals. At that point, we were anticipating on having around an hour of pictures, but the weather decided to turn sour after around 30 minutes. Regardless, everyone had a good time and the rain didn't affect them one bit.

Licete & Peter - we had a blast hanging out with you guys! Too bad for the rain but they say it's supposed to be for luck! Hope you two are having a great honeymoon.

Peter and his 2 best men - looking gansta'
This was a beautiful church - St. Augaustine in Bridgeport, CT
Yes, this was their entire bridal party - 12 guys, 11 girls, 2 ring boys 1 flower girl - and of course the bride and groom
After the first couple drops, Ania and I split up. Ania started doing some portraits of Licete and Peter, and I was finishing off the bridal party. It's not easy to take all the images you want with such a large bridal party and clouds that look like they are ready to rip open and pour out rain any minute. Luckily, we got all the formals that we wanted and could get right before it started pouring! Here is just a few as a teaser - the rest look great and will be up shortly.

These two were definitely prepared - I love the rain boots ladies!

Check out all the great food - doesn't it make your hungry? Lobster, roasted pig, whole fish - it all looked (and was) delicious!!

Introducing a free standing, no photographer required - Portrait Station/Photo Booth... I don't know what it is about people but when there is no photographer behind the camera everyone seems to relax, fool around and just take some of the most funniest, candid pictures
Check these out!
