ZHP - Polish Scouting Organization Picnic

As you all probably know, Ania volunteers her time (every Wednesday for about 2.5 hours from September - June) with the Polish Scouting Organization. So this makes me automatically part of the organization, (Ania anything for you - ha ha). I any case, every year they organize a 'Welcome Back' Picnic that takes place at Paderewski Park in Plainville.

This year is a special year for the organization as they are celebrating their 50th regional anniversary (obviously the organization has been around for more than that, but only for 50 years here in CT and New England). Therefore, first, we participated in a mass at Sacred Heart Church in New Britain, CT and then enjoyed food, fun and games at the park.

Here are a few pictures from that day . . .

Our flags marching away after the mass
Some of our adult leaders from the area
Here is everyone who attended the mass - this is just a small portion of our participants, leaders, volunteers from the local area
Now starts the fun part - party at the park

We had a variety of contest games - face painting, relay races, eating contest, shaving baloon and more

This year we decided to even have adult games - why should only the kids have fun? This was a contest of 4 volunteers - they goal was to kiss as many as possible in 35 seconds. . .

The winners for the dancing contest!
Another adult game - the partner on the other side had to lead her partner blind folded through a 'maze'
And our overall main winners from all the adult games! Adults can have fun too!
